Citibank Citimortgage - A Grimm Fairy Tale Pasadena, California

A Citimortgage representative made false claims about the value of property in our area, luring us into a complete waste-of-time mortgage re-fi effort, obviously (from later Citibank contact) in the hopes of getting us to move all our banking and investment business to them whether the re-fi went through or not.  It did not and, we learned, had NEVER had even the slightest chance of going through.

The bank said that waiving all charges for the re-fi process -- that we should never have been in in the first place - was sufficient compensation.  I requested payment for billable time lost from my business, they refused to pay that either.
