My wife and I started out with a conventional loan at Ford financial. Ford sold our loan to Associates and it ended up at Citifinancial. I know it was a conventioanl loan because like most conventional loans you have a 15 day grace period before the payment is considered late.
After Citifinacial started serviceing our loan we were told that by Citifincial Mortgage that we had a daily interest rate loan where if you are late one day, they start adding interest and penalties. As a result, we were ripped off when Citifinacial kept rolling our payments over to pay for interest fro the previous. As a result, when we finally got out from underneath Citifinacial, we owed $114K on an original loan amount of $97K. We feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of by this huge monster corporation.
We have hired an attorney and filed a suit but he is getting the run around from the Citifinancial attorney. Has anyone had this happen with Citifinancial changing the type of loan they originally had at Citifinacial's discretion??

Citifinacial has done all of the above to me. We have been in a chapter 13 bankrupcy 2 times because of these people. Here is a direct number to call it is in New York city the lady you will speak with is Karan Pierce her direct number is 203-975-6116. She is a secretary to the CEO of Citifinacial "Sandy" tell her everything you can and she will put you in contact with someone higher up to help you resolve the problem. Flood her phone line and sooner or later these people will serve justice for what they are doing. We are going through some more problems with this company now however I have not contacted Karan yet because our Atty : is wanting to file suit against them.

Didn't have done to us what you did but, we had a really rotten thing pulled on us. You need to read our story from last year. I'm thinking of getting a lawyer and also letting our attorny general know what is happening with these so called people. They are dogs! Pursue your case, unless we start doing something about them they are going to keep getting away with the bull they do to good people.......Good Luck!
