My friend, a young, vibrant woman of 37 years old, died in February of Breast Cancer. She died a slow and torturous death. She was not given Chemotherapy. She was without insurance and we called everyone. We called every charity. No one would assist us. She was diagnosed with breast cancer after experiencing shoulder pain. She was starting a new job. She was a mother of 5. Her husband had left her. That's when she went to the doctor to find out why her shoulder kept hurting. She lived a good lifestyle. A wholesome lifestyle. She didn't smoke or drink. She was a good mother to her 5 children and was trying to make it on her own.
She became sick 3 months before her insurance on her job was to kick in. She had to wait several months to try and get Medicaid to accept her. She lost her place and moved in with family. We called everyone to try and help. Churches. Charities. Susan Komen for the Cure. [continued below]....

..... The American Cancer Association. EVERYONE. Yet no one could assist us with finding a doctor to treat her. These organizations are SHAMS. They do nothing but GET YOUR MONEY.
The cancer spread to her lungs. Her liver. She kept going back and forth to the hospital. But by that time they told her there was nothing they could do. They hadn't done anything to begin with. They gave her pain medication and sent her home to die. She died February 20, 2012. One year after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The cancer left untreated had caused her skin to bubble up and turn black in areas.
I FAULT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. THEY HAVE PLACED PROFIT OVER PEOPLE. THEY CARE NOTHING FOR THE POOR. NEVER HAVE. THIS COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON THE BACKS OF SLAVES. YET THEY STILL MISTREAT BLACKS AND MINORITIES. THIS IS A GREEDY, CORRUPT SYSTEM.
THEY TOUT THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY AS SUPPOSEDLY BEING THE BEST IN THE WORLD. IT IS NOT. OTHER COUNTRIES ARE MORE MERCIFUL. TO ALL THE COLD HEARTED EVIL REPUBLICANS I KNOW WILL SPAM THIS POST WHO WILL SAY GO SOMEPLACE ELSE I SAY I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. THE GOVERNMENT BUILDS HOSPITALS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES BUT CARES NOTHING FOR THE SCORES OF POOR WHO CAN'T ACCESS A DOCTOR. WHERE'S THE HUMANITY IN THAT?
THEY LET HER DIE. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THE REPUBLICANS. NEVER. EVER. NOR THE GREEDY HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY. IF SO MANY DOCTORS WEREN'T CHEATING THE SYSTEM MORE PEOPLE COULD BE COVERED. COSTS WOULD GO DOWN. I RECENTLY READ ABOUT AN ENT DOCTOR THAT WHEN HE SHINES A LIGHT UP YOUR NOSE HE LISTS THAT AS A SURGERY AND CHARGES MEDICAID $1,500.00. FOR SOMETHING THAT TOOK 2 SECONDS.
ALL DOCTORS DO THIS. THOSE GREEDY, HEARTLESS B*******. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.

We haven't done anything to our neighbors to be treated this way!. They are trying to harass us out of our own home! we don't rent from anybody & we still get treated this way!. I have been victimized so many times its not even funny!.
We are being victimized right know all we did was stand up to our neighbors yes we did yell back at them who wouldn't yell back being screamed at in the middle of the street but they had the nerve to file a complaint against us! . They are a bunch of merrys!.

This is our home we own it they have no right to harass us about it!. We will not be forced out of our own home its ours! they have crossed the line. I have not done a thing to these neighbors they don't have to like us but we are not leaving! not this time!. They can go to hell! we are not leaving without a fight! they can file all the false harassment charges they please.
The judges can find us guilty all they feel like but we will not leave our own home! they can piss the hell off!. I'm tired of being harassed every where we live! & they get away with harassing us & they are allowed to file false harassment charges on us when all we did was stood up to them being verbal abusing towards us!.
Then it looks like we have a hard time of getting along with people when in fact its the other way around people refuse to get along with us or leave us alone or our property. I don't care anymore!.

You are 100% correct in saying: "THIS IS A GREEDY, CORRUPT SYSTEM."
Those words perfectly describe why our 'system' collapsed back in September of 2008. Having a healthcare system whose main goal is to make profits is wrong. The healthcare system in America now answers to the shareholders. The shareholders want to make profits. They don't care how the profits are made. That is the main reason why there is so much fraud, corruption, and greed in our healthcare system today.
I believe that the following needs to take place in this country in order for things to get better for the 99% of Americans-
1) A complete collapse of Wall Street.
2) A complete collapse of the U.S. government as we know it.
3) End the Federal Reserve system.
When the American people are able to accomplish all three, then the American people will once again be in control of their country and their destiny. No one should die "a slow and tortuous death" like your friend.

Those words perfectly describe why our 'system' collapsed back in September of 2008. Having a healthcare system whose main goal is to make profits is wrong. The healthcare system in America now answers to the shareholders. The shareholders want to make profits. They don't care how the profits are made. That is the main reason why there is so much fraud, corruption, and greed in our healthcare system today.

BUT how can you blame the Republicans for the death of your friend? First and foremost this is a third party declaration. The US has the best healthcare in the world. Did your friend not seek help at a Public non profit hospital in her area?? The is a law called EMTALA (patient dumping) - is requires hospitals to not refuse any patient regardless of their financial situation.
All non profit agencies can only do so much within their financial resources. The agencies you mentioned are NON PROFIT agencies. Don't like it - get in touch with your Representative or Senator if you want laws to protect individuals to change.
I know this because I used to work for a Healthcare company and YES they are greedy - they want to appease the Board of Shareholders. I am unemployed and with no health insurance because it is too expensive. Blame those who abuse then system -

Why would doctors want to take on the MANY patients who can't pay?
They would soon go broke.
BTW, please provide a link to that report on the ENT Dr. that took two seconds to shine a light up the patients nose and billed Medicare $1500. What is your verifiable source to your claim that "ALL doctors do this?"
Another question is, how did the Republicans solely, as a political party, become responsible for all this that you allege?
