City Furniture You get less than you paid for in this customer's humble opinion. West Palm Beach Florida

This customer has concluded you will get less than you pay for.  Why?  First, do not believe the salesperson who tells you that if anything goes wrong, the item will be replaced.  Ask to see it in writing.  He may tell you that it's written on the warranty.  Ask to see it first.  If they show it to you, read the fine print carefully.  It will say that you have to send the item back to the manufacture.  The pictures show that everything except the covering is made in China.  If you cannot take the item back to the manufacturer, you have to take it to their state headquarters.  In Florida, that is in Tallahassee.  Once you get it there, they decide if they will consider your complaint. 

The covering that was put on the chair locally is listed on the receipt as "leather".  When I talked to the store manager, she told me it is "bonded leather, to make it stronger".

It broke at the stitching line beside the seams.  Either the holes were too large or the "leather" is too weak, or stiff, or whatever.  It feels like a very thin layer of poor quality, dyed, leather on vinyl. It just looks and feels inferior.   

I have bought leather chairs from Sears, Macy's, and JC Penny's and they have all stretched with use, not broken.  My advice, watch for sales at one of the dependable department stores and buy your leather chairs there.  It will cost the same or less and last longer.

You get what you pay for and at City Furniture, in this customer's opinion, you get less than that.
