I had a representatitive contact me and tell me that I would have to pay $2.15 per click to my website and the minimum limit I had to choose was $400.00 per month. I was told that I would only be charged for however many
clicks my business website recieved and not the full $400.00 every month.
I was sceptical but I agreed thinking that there was no way I would get that many clicks to my website every month and if I did then I should be making enough money to pay for the advertizing. Plus the company I have my website through shows me how many clicks to my website I get every day, so there was no way that city grid media could lie because I would have the proof.
So a month went by and I made sure I had the $400 in my business acct. just in case I had that many clicks to my website at the end of the month. I was thinking I would only have to pay at the most half of the $400.00. Well they ended up taking the full $400 and I did not have that many clicks to my website!
So I left a mesage for my representative libby rulison to call or email me back and she didn't after a whole week. so then I called and talked to a representative and they told me that it was clicks to their website and to my profile page that I was being charged for and not to my business website. So how do I know if they are lying about how many people actualy clicked on my profile page on their site?
I never would have signed up if I knew it was going to be like that, but I kwas lied to just so they can make money of course! I told the man that I wanted my money back, I wanted to cancle my account and I wanted to speak with a manager. He said he would have the manager call me in a week.( who tells their customers who are upset that they will have a manager call them in a week?) Well the manager never called back.
I called again and spoke with someone and they cancled my account for me. I filed a dispute form with my bank and cancled my account so they could not take any more money from me. Then a month later I see they are trying to take $219.00 out of my account , so I called the billing department and spoke with a man, i didn't get his name, he said that they were not going to give me my money back and I should have read the small print. He said good bye very mean and hung up on me.
It sounds like they are such a big company that they would have all their calls recorded for quality assurance purposes but they don't. If they did I told the man he could go back and here axactly what the sales person told me (all the fals and misleading information), Isn't that funny that they don't record any of their calls!!! ? He said they only do electronic signatures.
What ever happend to being able to go by someones word? We can't even believe a word that someone tells us and we have to read the fine print to make sure they are not lying! How sad! Mandy, La Belle, FL
