I recently applied for a canadian federal workers visa with a company called city visas based in birmingham england.But also claiming on there website to have an office in London.I paid 500.00 and was to have a consultation.After no contact and countless phone calls i went to the london office which turns does not exist.
I finally got to speak to some of the so called staff and was told my application had expired and it seemed i wasnt interested and that the number of visas was on a first come bases.I then sent registered letters threatening court action ,but there has been no responce.I had a solicitor look into it and he found the company uses another name which has been shut down and should not be trading. It has funds of 1 and the solicitor said it would be to risky to sue as it would cost more and i might not get any money back.The staff i spoke to were-
Darry how immigration consultant
Shilpa Alakkal canadian case worker.She couldnt even open an e-mail attachment i sent.
Rahul- a liar
Lexus- another liar
Gur- director
Aqell- case worker team leader and a liar.

Hi, I just read over your complaint, and that is more or less what happened to me. about a month ago a CityVisa advisor/employee contacted me after I researched google for a visa eligiblity assessment. The website looked legit and promising. Actually, just like the response City Visa has just given you!

The woman I got talking to seemed like she actually genuinely wanted to help me and my partner to help gain a visa to Canada! So, after a few phonecalls and questions, queries, etc my partner and I were confident enough to pursue it further and pay in full, (very very stupidly!!!!) the fee which is in 2000!!!THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY IN A RECESSION!!!

(I'm located in Ireland)

Anyway, it started off ok, she replied to our emails, called us etc. Then she said there would be a phone appointment where our "case worker" would phone us. We waited for that call. No one rang, she was talking through her deceitful, dishonest and disloyal arse. then she said she sent me a client care letter to sign, which she never did. A week later we waited til she decided to send it, I looked through it, but I did not sign. There was already an electronic signature with my name there. Few hours later I received an email stating I signed it. I never did! She took ages to reply to us, would not answer her phone, etc.

Just a build up of lies and serious disrespect on her part, as an "employee" representing this so called company. It has been 2 weeks since she has responded to our constant emails about documents etc. I wont hear back from her. if her name really is ""Hayley."

She will get her comeuppence, I am sure of that. As will "CityVisas". The evidence is so strong against them its overwhelming. I feel very stupid and naive and this has actually dented my confidence. I dont think they fully understand what they are doing and how it affects someone! Someone genuinely looking to start a fresh. I got so excited about, I will never make this mistake again.

I will follow this up and take further action, 2000 is A LOT of money! And I'm a feisty b***h when I wanna be and I will get justice.  So "CityVisas" don't u dare have the cheek to reply with a "genuine response" because its all talk. TALK THE TALK, BUT NO WALK THE WALK!

You will get caught one day. Just you wait :)

We would firstly like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to you. City Visas takes complaints very seriously and do not wish for clients to feel as though they have not been dealt with 

We would like to take the opportunity to find out the full story and find out why you have been treated in such a way. We have many clients that have been through the federal skilled visa process and successfully received a visa. 

If you can contact us with your full name and Email address we would like to find out why you never received a consultation. We have record of every single consultation that has taken place and if you say that you did not receive one then we would like to investigate why. 

With regards to our London office this is a satellite office that we sometimes use for meetings and this has been closed however our website was changed immediately so we are unsure why you were told otherwise. 

City Visas offers one of the best services in relation to Canadian emigration we sincerely apologise for any distress caused to you and would be more than happy to offer you a full refund if we have evidence that you never received a consultation.

We do however note that you have mentioned names of people who you allege work for the company and also branded them "liars" we do believe that this is in direct conflict with the website's guidelines on how to leave a report and ask that you respect this so that accurate reports can be dealt with using this website.
