I honestly do not really know how to start with this .


Aimee Mccarty Sima is such a scam artist. I first saw her site on Facebook in mid May when i had a friend that was refering people to her site to win a free tutu i went and joined and then myself found 5 friends that joined under me so that i too could win a tutu for my girls . My oldest daughter is 6 and was so very excited that she could pick the colors for her tutu. I did email Aimee and let her know i needed a size 6 tutu in hot pink, black and white . I was so impressed with her site . She was doing daily games and freebies and selling Gift Cards for 25.00 for a 80.00 gift cards. I started trying to win other items from her . On May 28th during her games i won a custom hairbow for 3.00 . Needless to say i was very excited . I asked her to make it black and pink with girly skulls to go with the tutu i had already won. I paid as soon as i won so i wouldnt have to worry about it and was hoping my stuff would be on the way soon .


About the First of June i started noticing people getting on her site and asking where there stuff was . At first i just figured maybe she sent out a batch that got lost at the post office but day after day more and more people were asking some saying it had been 8 plus weeks since they had ordered. I started to wonder then . Everyday she would do more and more give aways and in the mean time post that she was behind and satying up late to do all the orders . I still never asked about my items untill about the 15th of June when it had almost been a month since i had won the tutu. I had noticed she had put that she had different emails for customer service and such and if you asked on her wall where you stuff was she refered you to the other addresses. I did email and did not get a response so i asked on her wall when the tutus were going out and if my hairbow would be with it she said yes the hairbow would and it would be  on and around the 20th of June. I thought ok and asked her could she try to to make it as close to the 20th as possible.


Everyday i was seeing more and more people ask where there stuff was and she would delete there comments and refer them to her email address and  policy tabs.By now i was getting inbox message with people warning me that she was scamming and i would never get my order and to file with Paypal before the 45 days was up to file. On the 25th of June i had a friend ask on her Facebook page if anyone had had problems with Claires and not getting there stuff and i responded I haven't gotten mine yet but stiill holding out hope. I still did not connact Aimee again untill July 1st. I relized she had taken her chat bar off so people couldnt comment only under her status updates i instead of asking there used her email address to ask when my tutu and hairbow had shipped.


In my email i asked her if she had shipped my items and when were they shipped and that it looked bad that she had shut her chat bar off and that i was getting emails saying she was scamming  and that the worse part was that i had refered people to her that had ordered and were getting treated the same way (as my friend had been emailing her and had never and still has never gotten a email back) she then responded and refered me to her policys tab in her notes and said she sent out 132 free tutus out to people over 7 days and if i was worried then return my headband and tutu when they arrived.


I did not see what the policy tab had to do with it and told her that she did not give out free tutus we earned them by refering people to her page and i also had paid for the hairbow . She then refused to search for a day as when she sent out my tutu stating that she sent out 132 tutus and her looking for my day would take away from others orders. She then told me again if i wasnt happy to send her back the tutu and hairbow and she would refund the hairbow but she had a daughter to take care of and that she thought she was being generous giving away 132 tutus.


She came off very rude and we then went back and forth some more . I understand we all have rough days but as a business owner you can not act like she does. I then felt i needed to go ahead and file to get my money back before the 45 days was up so i filed with PayPal . She emailed me right back and told me that i had no respect for the guildlines on her page and that she refunded me because she didnt track it and she was out 13.50 because of me . 


I got notice that she paid with a e check and that my refund would be avalable on the 7th of July. In the mean time she gets on her Facebook page and starts making it sound like it everybody elses fault that she is closing her page and if you have Bow of the Month and gift cards she will still honor them But how the heck is she going to do that when she cant even get caught up.She starts telling people that they are out hundreds of dollars a week in shipping and shes not making any money .


The 7th comes and guess what i get a notice from PayPal stating that my refund was denied at the  bank and another shocker was that the bank account name is her 18 month old daughters name. It states that it will be the 20th when they try her account again. I then emailed her and said the bank denied it when would it be paid and she said friday which was yesterday and guess what.... no refund .


I have a friend that has ordered a tutu dress on May 28th that she measured her daughter for and still has  yet to get it and now has to tell her very excited daughter that it wont  be coming. My only friend that has recieved her tutu got hers today in a crumpled up tissue box and the tutu was not even the right colors. Why ask what colors you want if you not going to send them. She also waited 43 days for it.


She has now closed her Facebook page and is selling from her personal Facebook page, www.clairesbowtique.com and now she has started selling on ebay under the name jeffathrb . Yet another way to rip off people since she has already lost a ebay account for scamming and 2 etsy accounts ive been told.


In closing i know this seems harsh and i hate to have to write this but people need to be aware of what they are getting in to with this seller. She is leaving for Disney soon and i can bet with scammed money. I do relize that i only have a free tutu and a 3.00 bow coming but it shouldnt be treated any different then a 100.00 order im still a customer all the same. She likes to make it sound like there are just a few unhappy people but start asking around and you will find very few that have recieved there orders . If you are reading this and still with in your 45 days to file on Paypal i suggest you do so so they relize there are more people out there that she is scamming . This is fraud and the funny thing is she just lives down the street from the police office.


Now that i look back how can someone sell 80.00 gift cards for 25.OO , give away free tutus and bows every day, and send out 132 free tutus valued at 10.00 apeice with free shipping? That would be 1320.00 in tutus and if shipping is about 3.00 each it would be 396.00 is shipping. Who has that kinda money ? Honestly. and before she even gets the tutus out from May she runs a free tutu referal program again. Thats how she has 5000 plus fans not because she is a good seller cause ask most besides her friends that live near her most are still waiting on orders.


What a shame to use you daughter in this way in frauding people and who has a checking account link to a Paypal account in a 18 month olds name ? I would suggest everyone that was ripped off by Aimee Sima file with PayPal , Better Business Bereau and then call the Allegan MI. Police office . This is fraud  no matter how you look at it.


Im sure ill get a nasty response calling me a liar and saying there are 2 sides to the story because thats what she does best is treat people nasty but i just felt people needed to be aware of this scam artist. Aimee McCarty Sima.

She Ripped Me off Too!

Aimee Scammed me too! I became of fan of her facebook fan page and won some of her items. I sent 2 PayPal payments. One in April and One in May. I waited months and never received anything at all except excuses. I e-mailed her repeatedly asking her if she felt right about taking peoples money and offering nothing in return. With me, she never even sent a package or pretended that she had.

She just downright refused to even check if she had made my items, she refused to send anything, and she refused a refund. She knew that the 45 days had passed for me to file a complaint with PayPal so she didn't even care. After awhile she deleted her facebook page and changed her e-mail so I had no way to contact her. She has scammed soooo many people but will not take responsibility for it.

To Aimee: If you spent half as much time actually trying to make your customers happy as you do making up excuses you wouldn't be in this position. I have been selling handmade items for 3 years on-line and have never done to anyone what you did to me and so many other people. You should be ashamed of stealing from people and not caring about it. Hope this isn't the kind of example you will set for your children.

Your right . That is the picture of what you said you were sending me . When i unpacked the tutu out of you bag i put it on my child there were gaps all over when the elastic stretches . You have it just laying on the floor unstretched. I put it on my child and pushed the tulle together to show how much is missing to make it look right.I never said i pulled it out of the package like that . I should  have know that you were only going to half do it and should have just said never mind because now i have a child that cannot wear this out of the house let alone a hairbow that wont even fit in her hair because you put a baby french barrette on it knowing she was 6 yrs old. Not to mention its so cheaply made no wonder you can give away free tutu all the time since it looks like it was made with about .50 of tulle.

You keep refering to us girls , us girls when i only know one of these people you keep refering to and harrassing unfortuntaly she was one of the people i refered to you to get the tutu . Thanks to you ripping people off i have made a few new friends . One thing we all have in common is you scammed or ripped the majority of us off. That list you posted was not even right you only posted if they had purchased or not and failed to leave off the people that are still waiting for there tutus as promised.

You really need to step back and take a look at your self. Start reading through all your emails again so you can keep up with what you have lied about and told people. Since you say you have attorney i would be more then happy to speak with him and show him all the lies you have said. You would be a much happier person if you would just admit you got in over your head and needed time to catch up instead of avoiding emails and deleting and  harrassing people . If you would have told me on the 1st of July that my stuff hadnt shipped but it would by such and such time i would have waited you instead choice to refer me to your policys tab and tell me you didnt have time to look for the day you shipped it knowing dang good and well you never had as you admitted to me in a email on July 13th :)

LMFAO is all I gave to say. I love how you point out we used RECYCLED materials to send things it is GOOD for the environment. That tutu did NOT look like that when it left my house and thank goodness I was smart and took photo of it. We knew you were going to do that and the 1000's of people who have recieved my items KNOW that is not how they come! FUNNIEST part of this is that I knew you were going to say that and whats funnier is Leighanna keeps going on and on about how you girls are so honest! well thank you for proving me right! To start i would like to say i mad a mistake on the day i won the tutu. It was the 27th of May and not the middle of May ...


Aimee is still a liar and a scammer. Myself and a friend start a site Voices Against Claire's Bowtique Aimee wanted in so badly she used a fake name Stephanie Lions to join so that she could copy the members list and start harrassing people . After a conversation with her friend on the 13th her friend asked if i would like her to help me get my bow and said sure but i doubt Aimee would go for it . That should have raised a red flag because my bow and tutu were suppose to have already shipped out sometime between the 20th of June and 10 days after. Aimee then emailed me and told me that if she would have relized all she would have  had to do is send the bow she would have sent it. I told her that confused me a little bit since my hairbow and tutu had already been sent out. Which i was told several times. She came back with no only my tutu shipped out with in the 20th to 30th not my bow. She then after i caught her lying once again changed her story and said she thought they did ship together but when she was going through labals she found one with hairbow written on the back with my name on it and since i had already filed on her and with Paypal she didnt bother with it.


She agreed to go ahead and make the bow and i asked her if she could go ahead and make the tutu also and she said she would also make the tutu again incase the first one never came. ( im sure this is why when i asked for a tracking number on the 1st of July she wouldnt give me one cause she never shipped my items) Dhe them emailed me a picture of the hairbow and tutu with a tracking number .Hair bow was not quite what i had ordered but when i mentioned it to her she said she was out of that ribbon. On the 14th of July i get notice from Paypal stating that Claire Simas bank denied my refund

I waited and today i recive a package in the mail. Needless to say my daughter was so excited and was yelling its my tutu . I open the box which was flimsy and was a frozen waffle box turned inside out and pulled a Meijers plastic bag out and untied it and was in shock at what i say. The bow as you can see by the pictures on the back side is 2 pcs of pink ribbon with a pc of black with white polka dot . You cant even see the pick when you turn it over . There is a tiny baby french clip hot glued on the back of the 3 peices of ribbon. on the top one side of the white with skull ribbon is longer then the other side there is glue string all over the skull face and you can see it through the eyes and there is glue string on the top by the pink and blakck . There is also a chunk of fray check or some thing on the right point of the black and white polka dot right at the half circle. the top bow is hot glued to the 3 pcs of ribbon. 

   The tutu when i pulled it out had spaces inbetween the ribbons on the elastic so i pushed it together to where all the ribbons touched and it left about a 3to 4 inch gap as you can see. I mean am i suppose to let her wear it like that in the front or let her back side show? Also i noticed as i was getting it out of the package one  of the pcs of white tulle has 4 holes in it . I mean really was it not noticed before packing because i noticed it right away when i was getting it out .

Needless to say no wonder her stuff is so cheap because what she does make is made cheap looking. Or maybe she just made it to look like this to spite me . I did tell her i would give her the 3.00 back for the bow if it arrived but she told me to keep it for my " hassles" and that it was only 3.00 ( 2.62 minus paypal fees). Plus im sure if i tried to send it back her accounts are still froze . I do have all emails showing where she refered to the fact my tutu and hairbow had shipped and also the ones where she admits it wasnt shipped. I also have the inboxs from Facebook she sent under her alsas Stephanie Lions.

Aimee is a flat out nasty person to deal with .As you can see by these ripoff reports.  I know this was only a 3.00 hairbow and free tutu but i paid for the hairbow and won the tutu so it shouldnt matter i was still a customer all the same .

Thats your 18 month old daughter right or did you change your name.

    Would you like me to post anything else so people can really see how you have used your daughter in such a horrible wayor is this good? I see on Facebook you are trying to  get a list of people that have recieved your items whats sad is there is just as long of a list that have either not recieved or waited a very lengthy time before they did recieve there items. Plus you can ask you friends to get on and post stuff like that for you anyway . I think its quite funny that you opened you chat bar back up since i wrote this report. Hope you have a wonderful time in Florida cause you never know when your scamming will catch up to you . It is fraud after all and people do jail time for that.


    I didnt recieve my refund friday that you said i would recieve as you stated i would nor did i get the tutu ive waited 54 days for or the bow ive waited 44 days for . I would say they probably havent been shipped thats why you wouldnt look my shipping number up just my thinking on it.

This is so rediculous this whole email! I am not even going to answer but I would like to see where my daughters name is linked to any checking account? That is NOT true and this site states you MUST tell the truth! Oh and I for the 100,000 time am NOT going to Disney and I never said I was! I go to FLorida every year as I always have! NOT Disney!
