I placed an order with Classic Closeouts and recieved nothing but problems. First out of 5 things I order only one of them was available and the other 4 were all out of stock. The item that was available was a straightening brush that was only $2.99. When I received the brush it was broken and very obviously used because there were peices of hair stuck in the brush. I was completely disgusted but figured that it wasn't work trying to return because it was so cheap.

After I placed the first order but before I received it I placed another order with Classic Closeouts. When I received this order it was the wrong order. It had a packing slip that matched what I ordered but everything in the box was completly different.

I immediately tried to call Classic Closeouts but the only number I could find was the one on the box. I called that number and got a very unprofessional sounding voice mail. It sounded like some kids cell phone message or something! I left a message there with both my home and cell numbers but never heard back

A few days later I contact them again via the e-mail link on their web site. Somebody responded to me and told me that they would have fedex pick up the box the following day and once they received it they would credit my account. I had the package ready to be picked up by fedex but they never came. So I contacted them again and was told again that it would be picked up the following day.

Fedex finally did pick up the package a few days later. About a week after the package was picked up I still had not received the refund they promissed. Once again I contacted them and this time I was told it would take up to 10 business days for them to credit my account.

More than 10 business days went by and still no refund. I was very angry by this point and was sick of being able to deal with people only via e-mail. I wanted to talk to somebody in person so I could get an immediate response. I tried to find a number to contact them but could not find any number for them besides the one I had called at the begining that ALWAYS went straight to the same unprofessional voicemail.

I was finally able to find a number to reach them on a website posted by another consumer that had been screwed over by Classic Closeouts. They appearently had the same problem locating a number for them so once they did get the number they wanted to make sure other consumers could have it as well.

When I called the number somebody answered but I think it was the same unprofessional kid that left the message on the other voice mail. While I was on the phoen trying to explain the situation I was constintly put on hold. I would get a sentance out then be asked to hold. How rude is that!

After threatening to report them to the Attorney General and BBB I was assured that I would have my money refunded the following day. After getting off the phone I received an e-mail from them stating the the money had been credited to my account. After that phone call and e-mail it was still over a week later before the money really was credited to my account.

The whole ordeal from when I first received the order and called Classic Closeouts to the time I finally got my refund was over 2 months!!! I can't believe that it can take any business that long to credit an account for a mistake they made! The fact that I couldn't even reach anyone by phone and when I finally did they were very unprofessional only made the situation worse.

Classic Closeouts might look like they have great deals but don't be fooled. The deals aren't good enough to make it worth the time and agrevation when they send you wrong or damaged items.
