Purchased a fireplace to go in existing fireplace, did not fit...ok, they needed to block of the fireplace. To do that brick it, plasterboard it and put in skirting board. Items one and two done. But they refused item three. A wall that adjoins two others needs to have a skirting board.
The installer refused to obtain one as did Classic. The installer walked out leaving a hole in the ceiling and boxes of fireplace matter on the front deck.
The owner of the company was abuse on the phone and in emails.
Avoid this company.
It is going to be a long legal battle to get this sorted and in the meantime I have no fire, a firebox, a hole in the ceiling, a wall that looks rediculous and lots of abusive emails.
