Senior Citizen taken advantage by unscrupolus company. Would not honor coupon and instead charged way over the amount for job. Quality of job very poor, grout is still grey. Company man was a fast and smooth talker and had me believing his price was good & fair. Had me make out check in his name, said he was an independent contractor. Called company, they said he was an Employee but to make it to him because that is the way they do it.

Called bank as soon as he left to cancel check. He cashed it immediately (bank is down the street). Charged me $3.75 sq ft, when I have sice found out that the usual charge for this service is $1.00 sq ft. My total cost came $480.00. Coupon says .30 sq ft for tile AND grout cleaning. Co. said coupon was only for cleanning tile and the grout and sealer would be extra. Total time at my house was about l Hr. Seniors BEWARE of this company, they advertise in the Clipper Magazine.

Our company values and respects our senior clientele as do our technicians which is why we offer an additional 10% discount to senior citizens. In this customer's case we offered an additional 15% because of the volume of work being performed at her house. When the technician arrived at the customer's house he demonstrated the tile cleaning and the customer expressed interest in extra grout cleaning and sealant, without presenting or making reference to the coupon. It is standard industry policy to charge separately for the grout and sealant as these procedures are more time consuming and involve more expensive supplies. The customer was informed of all charges prior to the commencement of work and even called and confirmed with another party while the technician received authorization for the additional discount from a manager. The customer then expressed interest in getting a sofa cleaned as well in which we extended the 15% discount to our already discounted coupon price for the sofa.

In between the jobs the technicians are directed to deposit the payment from the previous job before continuing on to the other as part of our procedures in order to keep the office up to date on the status of the technicians. Because the check was written off the same bank as it was deposited into the check posted immediately to the account. As soon as the customer expressed dissatisfaction with job we immediately offered to send the technician back at no charge to the customer, however this offer was rejected. We are sincerely sorry that the customer is not 100% satisfied with the work performed at her home as it is our companies main concern to provide the best individualized service for every customer. However, the customer did not allow ample opportunity in order for our company to act upon our satisfaction guarantee which has been perfected through sixteen years of experience in the field.
