I went to Clearwire and dealt with the manager, Matthew. He told me if I had any problems to call him. After I got home I needed help so I called him.  His response was he would call me back in 10 min.  After waiting 30 min I called him back and was put through to voicemail, which was full.  I got a 3rd party involved who helped me with my problem, never hearing from the "manager".  When service was set up I was quoted $34.99 + tax and he needed my credit card to set account up. Was assured my card would not be billed after this initial setup.  The service was very slow and I kept getting kicked out, but figured for the price it would be fine. 

I waited for a bill and didn't receive one but at the first of the month my account was billed. No warning, no bill, and no e-mail.  I called clearwire and spent 2 hours on the phone. I was finally told that I would have to wait 3 days to find out if they would refund my account. After waiting the 3 days and the money still not credited I called back and was told my request was denied. I was not allowed to speak to said department.  My credit card was still active on the account even after being dissatisfied with the company 3 days previously and telling them I did not want the service.  I was then transferred and left on hold for 7 minutes.  My call was then picked up and answered and hung up on. 

This company seemed shady from the beginning and now I wish I would have followed my gut.  The "manager" Matthew seemed dirty and lazy from the beginning and never even got up from his chair.  I paid $170 for the initial setup and now it is costing me another $150 for overdraft fees and the $49.99 that they refuse to credit.  I am very dissatisfied with this company and feel I have been ripped off.  Do not get Clearwire unless you have money laying around that you would like to throw out the window.
