I now get disconnected up to 5 times a day and throttled down to less than dial up speeds even more often. I bit the bullet and phoned their abysmal so called customer service. The idiot I spoke to refused to escalate the problem and was laughing when he told me " You're now in a 3G area and we don't want your business, so why not do us both a favor and go somewhere else" !!
I am seeking legal advice on this and if anyone else has experienced this sort of thing from them I would ask you to contact me at ukgraham1@yahoo.com If as I expect the attorney considers this illegal then I will be filing a suit around July 1st.
I still have their original acceptance letter to me from 2009 stating unlimited high speed access and their letter about not allowing new sign ups as they are intending to supply 4G areas only where they can.

Clear are well known for using throttling on customers who according to their criteria use too much bandwidth. Now I have been monitoring mine for the past two weeks and it seems that in an attempt to force people out it has dropped from 250 meg/day to 50 meg/day despite them stating that they provided an unlimited service.
Can you be honest for even one minute and explain why this blatant disregard of customers doesn't need them to be held accountable in a court of law? If your bank promised you no fees ever and then started charging you $1 per transaction and said "if you don't like it then leave" I am forced to assume you wouldn't even dispute the charges and would say "that's their right, so even though they promised in writing this would never happen, it's obviously my fault" lol
The whole point of looking into and now filing a lawsuit was for breach of contract. Thankfully my attorney disagrees with you and filed three days ago, so now we will see who is right either the GOP troll or the people LOL
The last time I checked there is no law that says a private company has to do business with anyone. So do you have some information that this has changed? If so can you please post the specific law they are breaking, as that can only help everyone.
