Since Client Services claimed damaging my CRA was a clerical error on their part and suddenly NCO picking this up within 10 days the letter of response was issued by Client Services to the Missouri Attorney General, I started thinking.

Now this is always a dangerous thing when I think, because I wanted to see if any dots connected from Client Services to NCO.

Both company websites were similar, but you could always have an "industry recommended" web designer develop separate sites for the same companies. Client Services did not provide any listing for physical mailing addresses, but NCO totes in their qualifications, they have offices world wide.

NCO advertised offices in Missouri, but I could not get an address of their Missouri office to compare it with the address on the Attorney General response from Client Services.

I looked at job listings for NCO Financial in Missouri, and LO AND BEHOLD they are looking for collectors for NCO at the same address as Client Services.

This is proof the company evaded investigation in Missouri by crossing state lines.

Within the past year, I had a credit card in their office. It had the "File # *******" but not the original credit card #. The credit card debt wasn't even that old.LOL. It's very obvious this place has very sloppy record keeping. I simply sent a debt validation request within the 30 day window from the time they initially dunned me certified mail return receipt requested. Haven't heard a thing since from the credit card company or any new collection agency in the last 6 months since I did this. Always debt validate, even if you know you owe. Worst case scenario, it buys you a lot of time as they can't collect until successful validation. Best case scenario, the agency can't reproduce the original account # since all they got was a spreadsheet for x amount of dollars since the original creditor sold the debt.

The Attorney General in Missouri started investigating Client Services for fraudulently reporting the trade line. In my letter to the Attorney General (which was forwarded to Client Services) I had a private telephone number.

Client Services responded by claiming "clerical error" and alleging they were sending the account back to Bank of America. The Attorney General dropped the case as resolved. The trade line came off my CRA.

Within 15 days receipt of Client Services response to the AG in Missouri, the trade line re-appeared under NCO and the calls on the private line (from that dispute letter) started coming in 7-8 times a day.
