Coldwell Banker of Ridgecrest Ca has predatory and unethical business practices. On August 24th I put and offer on a house that was priced to sell... their words not mine. August 27th and I was informed that my offer was accepted and all I needed to do was to sign and intical the documents and resubmit. keep in mind you that this was all in writing. The MLS even moved from active to pending... leading me to believe that that what was writing on the page sent to me was locked up.
I have now found that I was a pawn in a game that Coldwell Banker of Ridgecrest (Ashly Palomino & Kathleen Vejtasa) has become known for. First price a Fannie Mae house low to let an outsider come in and put an offer in to find out if the bank will take the low price, next find a mistake in the contract to kick back to buying agent, last send word out to all other agents in the office that you have an almost accepted offer then defraud they buyer out of a home inspection $300.00. After that call the buying agent and let them know that there is another offer on the table and they need to come back with best and final. Last of this great scam is wait until the outsiders bid is in and let you friends in the office know so that they can come in over asking by $1000.00 to steal the house from unexpecting victim.
All of this information has been stated as an opinion and observation of the truth from one of many victims from this agency. I feel that only those who like to defraud buyers or like to have the back end of a shovel rammed into their rear end should do business with this business. I believe this consumer because a realtor by the name of Jaynee Middlemiss in the Laconia,NH office deceived me by selling me a home with a badly damaged ceiling which could cost from $10,000 to $25,000 dollars depending on the contractor, she did not tell me about the seriousness of the ceiling before I closed on the sale of the home.
