You may submit a bar complaint vs. Fred Hanna (the owner of the "firm") and any atty. that may have contacted you that also violated bar rules for atty.s:

POSTED: Sunday, June 27, 2010First, let me tell you that I have done battle with Hanna and beat him badly.
Second, you went about dealing with this JUNK DEBT BUYER / THIRD PARTY DEBT COLLECTOR entirely the wrong way.
I suggest you go to ftc.gov and find and print out the FDCPA which explains your rights under federal law regarding third party debt collections actions.
Then go to budhibbs.com and do some more reading on who's who in the bottomfeeder game and how to beat them.
NEVER speak to any third party debt collector on the phone.
NEVER pay or make an agreement to pay a third party debt collector.
ALWAYS shut them down with a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS letter.
ALWAYS sue them when they violate.
FORGET the BBB. It is a totally useless and corrupt organization that does not have any authority to do anything.
When you made a payment to these vultures, you validated the debt and restarted the SOL clock.
Now, they WILL sue and get a judgement, with costs.
