In June, 2004, I was injured on an off road vehicle. The insurance covered my emergency room and one night stay in the hospital. I had a severe back injury with nerve damage.
I tried my best to continue working, but, when they forced me to stand the 10 hours required to do my job, my back pain was too much. I left my job, on the suggestion of my Doctor, on August 28, 2005. I waited the 30 days to file for my disability; the required paperwork was filled out by my doctor and the HR department at Redwind by the 28th of Sept. I thought everything was done correctly so there would be
no problem.
I mailed the completed paper work in on the 5th of October. A week later, I called to make sure everything was satisfactory. They claimed they didn't receive it and to call back in a few days. I did and still nothing. This went on for at least 3 weeks, each time talking to a differant person. I finally got everything together again and faxed it to them.
I waited a couple days, called to make sure they got it and was told they did, but it would take 7 to 14 days to process it.
So, after 2 weeks, I called again. This time I talked to Jackie Hooker. She had all kinds of questions for my doctor, claiming the paperwork wasn't filled out properly. We agreed to have my files, from my doctor, faxed directly to her.
The next day, I called her. She said that wasn't "useful" information. During our conversation, she referred to something that was on the original papers, that was mailed the 5th of October ( that they claimed was never received ). The time line on this is now going into end of November.
Ms. Hooker said she would fax the information required to the doctor, Nov.23th.
In the meantime, I went to another doctor for treatment to relieve the pain with injections in my back ( pain blockers ). I took a claim form, he filled it in and it was faxed the 30th of Nov. I called the Insurance office about my claim, some guy pulled up my file on his computer and told me they are still waiting for "information". He said there is no fax from the Tacoma doctor, no information from the fax sent to my primary doctor. NOTHING.
I've called my doctors. They have not received anything!
The last time I spoke to Ms. Hooker was the 30th of November, when she told me that "because my doctor wont respond, I will have to start my 30 day waiting period over again and they will have to go with the new doctor I started seeing Nov. 18th"
It has been ( going on ) 4 months run-around with these people. They've lied to me so much, I don't know what I can do to get this settled.

Search TipsThen for instance he will be in toilet call one of his employees say to him he on his way back from chicago, a joke.
Not sure about this but I think the company uses the internet to spy on you, does a lot people suddenly get more e mail about their private parts. They get your e mail address and try to pressure you
The manager maybe was run out of another state wore out his welcome.
I think my pay this week got ripped out $67.00 this on old guy, a ruthless liar. I asked about the pay, he chanced the subject said it was the account. He is retiring, so I guess he thought was ok to steal some of pay, it combined insurance company way.
Then they wear out their welcome munching office space in fast places to check people in without paying or buying anything. Watch for dirty looks, its clue.
I was setup in previous job to pushed out as programmer, even more ruthless than combined. So combined was on me at me like unweclome wasp, I fit the profile for a combined employee.
I don't think I going to get reinburse for something, a license mileage, per day per denim, told to submit to someone in the company probably who does not exist.
Its is such a joke when they rent a board room to interview thousands of people and some days he sits in the board room and no one shows, even hotel staff is laughing at him.
I remember when I went out on the demo, I was tricked he said he made 300 and some odd dollars, it was not the truth. He only sold one policy and rest were renews
They call the lieing motivation Ha Ha
Don't trust the staff, they have you bend over and spread checks
They lie so much, the staff get fearfull of reprisables so suddenly you work for different people. And then you find their word is no good, it is excused as lack of communication.
There always another person to uck as a employee, so combined could care less about you
I made only about 1/3 of what they say you make
Then watch for clues, like the best of the best what kind of car they buy when you are told they make a million dollars hie hie at combined
#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Should've read your policy...

I used to work with Combined, and this isn't a "Combined Insurance" issue. It's a "I-didn't-understand-my-policy" issue. I truly hope you learn from this situation and from now on, I hope you try to learn ALL of your insurance policies that you have. Yes, ALL. As the previous employee said - whatever is in black and white is what will happen. Period. They don't care about you enough to want to change things. Seriously.
#3 Consumer Suggestion
sounds like they get many complaints about thier company

All I can do is help you get what is says in BLACK AND WHITE, I'm not a miracle worker and don't expect anymore or anyless. One thing you learn while you work with Combined, is there are rednecks in every corner of the country and man, people sure are stupid. The company pays what THE POLICY SAYS IT WILL PAY. Thats why they continue to receive great better business bureau accolades and the company makes more money each and every year.
#5 Consumer Suggestion
Call the Washington State Insurance Commissioner Office
