DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMMONWEALTH CREDIT REPAIR IN FRISCO, TX. You have been warned.

Credit repair companies already have a bad reputation for not following through with there services, however this company is hands down the worst company, not just credit company but there business practice is terrible. The goal is to try and get you to sign a 6 month contract in which I clearly crossed through and sent back to them explainig I was not going to commit to a six month contract. I also e-mailed this company letting them know I was not going to do business with them if there was a six month contract involved. They e-mailed back with an addendum stating that I could get out before six months. I never signed this addendum either. I gave them everyting needed to dispute some medical collections and after a few months I did not hear from anybody and recieved nothing in the mail in which they explained I would be recieving. The exact reason why I did not want to commit to a six month contract. I had only spent maybe $230.00 but I was certainly not going to continue to pay for anything if they could not produce something that showed me they were actually working on my issues. Which they could not. The owner MIKE COLLINS then sends me threating e-mails (great businessman by the way. Heavy sarcasim) about how he is going to send this to collections if I don't pay for the six months. I asked for proof that I signed a six month contract, he could not provide one. I do have a copy that I sent back to them before starting. Again the six month piece of the contract was crossed out and initaled by me. I also have an e-mail letting them know I did not want to do business if it was to be for six months. Clearly showing them I was not interested in a six month contract. I don't know how much more proof he needs. A week goes by and I recieve a letter form a collection company in the amount fo $2736.00 (another terrible company Pro Collect). If I had agreed to a 6 month contract then I would be on the hook for $395.00 ($79.00 per month) plus I paid one month. Apparently you can file these collections against anybody with no reason behind it or an actual invoice coupled with a contract showing me in breech of contract. He has nothing. Not to worry though, I have a very powerful consumer attorney in the family that will be taking this on for me. We as consumers do have rights, and unfortunatly Commonwealth Credit Repair is on the wrong end of this deal with not a leg to stand on. The owner  MIKE COLLINS doesn't know when he is in the wrong and when he doesn't have a ligitimate reason for collection. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!!!

Response to false allegations!

AUTHOR: Mike Collins - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, November 11, 2011

It saddens me that I am having to respond to such ridiculous allegations when we do everything we can to help our clients.

Sadly, like every other business has experienced, there are times when clients sign up for and agree to terms in a contract, then try and alter terms of that agreement and/or never follow through with them properly in the first place.

This is unfortunately one of those prime examples. This disgruntled former client failed to follow the terms set forth in the agreements they signed up for initially, then when they wanted to alter the terms to their benefit, they were, of course, held accountable for what they signed up for.

We strive to provide all our clients the highest level of customer satisfaction possible and also the benefit of the doubt to try and work to resolve any issues that arise amicably and agreeably for both parties. There just are some people that don't follow anything they sign up for and there are always consequences to those actions.

This former client decided he just didn't want to pay for the service any longer, regardless of what the term of agreements stated they signed up for and also without properly cancelling their program at all, per the
agreements, which was an obvious pattern based on this former clients credit history.

After numerous attempts to resolve the matter both via phone and email, we were left with no choice but to submit their files to collections. We never want to be forced to resort to that and are always our last approach to a problem, but it all rests in the hands of the clients and the choices they make.

We are in the business of helping credit challenged clients get back on their feet and repair negative issues contained in their reports, we have over 14 years experience in the credit/debt industry and we understand that along the way, there are just going to be people who don't follow the rules. We always work to help our clients achieve all their goals of having a better credit files but...clients must help themselves and be willing to follow the
guidelines set forth if they want to achieve their goals and dreams.

I apologize in advance for anyone having to waste time reading these posts but I felt compelled to tell the truth about the situation and anyone that has questions regarding our policies or our business, we welcome any inquiries, we have nothing to hide.

We are in the business of helping people; we want our clients to understand how our service helps them and how they help themselves to a better future with having good credit.
