Compass Bank BBVA Cancelled Merchant Service Without Warning Decatur Alabama

I have been using Compass Bank for more years than I can remember and have always had good service until recently. I had merchant services with Compass and all of a sudden none of the Credit Card payments I received were processed, even though they went thru on the terminal. I get a letter from Compass saying they have terminated my merchant services because I accepted credit card payments for on-line purchases. I have never seen anything more rediculous than this. I had been accepting on-line payments since I had the service and they showed me how to accept them.

In the end if I wanted to continue doing business with them I would have to re-apply for merchant services. Worst of all, my customers received the merchandise and I am out the money and the merchandise, since they refused to process the cards.
