Could this have anything to do with you being on an overdrawn account as you mentioned in your earlier complaint? I know the bank is going through conversion it was just bought out. But they should not be holding your daughters account like that. There must be more to the story then you are saying? Banks just don't LOCK people out of their accounts just because? That does not make any sense? And if they did I sincerely hope that you sue them. Your daughter cant close her account because she is not here. The next time she is on leave and comes home I strongly encourage her to take out a Power Of Attorney and this would allow you to close her account and move it to another bank as she wishes or you need to be a signer on her account so you could close it.
