Compu-Electronics Sales We bought a P3 toshiba laptop, told battery was good was soon as we started it up it needed to be charged and wouldnt stay charged, then put antivirus program in it and it wouldnt access the internet cleveland, Ohio

battery was crap, and windows wouldnt work now i cant do anything not even install a new version of windows

Could have been easily resolved!!!

Everything that was mentioned in this post could have easily been resolved with a simple phone call, email, or fax.  We would have been able to help you with your issue had you gotten your information over to us so that we could thoroughly evaluated and resolved your situation.  First off, the batteries are not pieces of (**ap) as you put it, however, they are from the manufacturer with an discharged/unknowned life status.  That is why your receipt CLEARLY states that there is NO warranty on the battery.  If you don't know where it says this on your receipt, check right above your signature stating that you already agreed to this purchase.  Secondly, if the operating system didn't work when you purchased it, why didn't you bring it back to the computer show for an exchange or refund??  We would have gladly exchanged it or by system defect only issued you a refund.  If this happened after the show or after using it, then we still could have issued a exchange or repair on your laptop.  You just simply needed to fax over your invoice with your selected issue and provide us with your email address for an RMA form.  That is it!!!  You didn't need to post a bum message like this to get this information provided to you though, our voicemail box even states then when you call us after hours.
