Conseco - Greentree worthless pointless stupid people Birmingham Alabama

My husband and I got a mobile home a little over a year ago. The trailor company told us to pick a home off the lot. Then told us our credit wasn't good enough, but that he used a company that would finance us in one that had not been repoed we would just have to assume the loan. He told us anything wrong with it would be fixed.
That was the first time either of us had financed something as large a home. We were excited and yes our fault for not paying close attention. We got it and moved in. The man then told us we would have to file every thing on our insurance. We called the mand it was going to cost over $1000.00 in prem. We also had to pay $ 4000.00 to have the home moved to our land.

After a few months my husband lost his job. That months payment was going to be put on the end of our loan. That was in April 2003. In August they called me telling me I was 2 months behind. That they never done that.We made our regular payments of $624.00. Alittle late sometime put it got there. We send it Western Union.That way they always get instead of being lost.

These people have called my mother, and father-n-law telling them things. Like I said we have been late. The way we have been thinking is nomatter what we do they will always call. They have been getting their money.
Then in October they said we had to send the payment from April or they would sue us and take the trailor. That if we did they would make arrangements for October. We did they didn't. They have sent more and more letters. I called and no-one would talk to me.

The nasty woman called my husband today and told him" they don't help people that we knew what we were getting into "She also said that if we would pay our bills on time they would not call us. He asked her if the payments could be lowered and she laughed.

This is the type of company that our children are going to be dealing with. They shouldn't be able to talk to people or lie to them like that. We have a huge payment and make it regardless if we don't even have gas money. The rest of our bills are in good standing. The dumb XXX has put over 8000.00 late charge on us.
Please if anyone knows how to stop them let me help.
