SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I used this company to find information out about someone and they never mentioned that, In California, you cannot recieve Criminal background information online. This was all I needed from this company and I never got it. When I called Customer Service, a lady (I can't remember her name, although I remember it was Hispanic) who was supposed to be the SUPERVISOR left me on hold for nearly ONE HOUR before she answered and said "sorry for leaving you on hold, call me back and leave a voice mail with your information" and hung up. Very Rude! So, I called back and left my information, explained that I didn't appreciate how she left me on hold - then hung up. I never got a return phone call! I soon after wrote several Emails to the "Customer Support" Department that never returned an email either.

All I wanted was a simple explanation why they DID/DO NOT let customers browsing California people know that you can't get that information! It's VERY simple! A REAL BUSINESS WOULD REFUND MONEY AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE! This company, like so many online, is a JOKE! Just another company ran by people who want to make a quick buck!

Watch out for PeopleFinders.com - and if you choose them - apparently you have to read through EVERY PAGE of their site, including FAQ's to be sure you don't waste money!

PURE RIPOFF!

Public records are called "public" records for a reason. By law, public records must be made available to anyone at anytime who requests it. Looking it up online is a conveienice- instead of going to the courthouse, Department of Vital Records and so forth. If you have a problem with your "privacy" rest assured that private information is not available in "public records". And if you have a problem with public records, then you have a problem with the law, not the people who search them for them.

Ignorance is Bliss.

AUTHOR: Clint - (U.S.A.)

It would be great if one could be so smart like you to guess the EXACT reason someone is trying to find out information about another - and why we should know every means of finding out information about someone... ha!

A) the person who's privacy was "invaded" is a known criminal, drug addict, has custody of a kid and somehow has a lawyer that bails himself out every time. Invading a Criminals privacy? How do you do that? When he's back in Prison I'll make sure I forward your information to the Warden so he can make sure you let him know not to invade this man's privacy!

B) It's amazing how someone in Australia claims to know so much about how to find someone in America... Very suspicious. But hey, thank you for replying with your ignorance!

Please keep your stupid, irrelevant comments to yourself, thanks.

#6 Consumer Suggestion

Serves you right

AUTHOR: Lee - (Australia)

If you had a legitimate reason to find out information on a person ie pre employment screening, working with kids, handling money/finances you would have signed release from him/her and could pursue it quickly and simply through other means (FBI Penal clearance form, state fingerprint check etc) Anyone who finds it necessary to invade others privacy through using online "investigators" deserves to be robbed!
