These Rip Off Artist Scammed Us Out of $882.36 In 4 Short Months. My wife and I purchased a Franchise. In our training manual we were to acquire a POS Terminal from Conquest Financial Services, They were listed as our prefered vendor. We only talked to a representative once when we called to give our information. An 11 page Merchant Application was emailed to us. The lease fee was $50.00 (But We Were Not Aware That Our Prefered Lease rate was $38.00 Per Month) The Application was so long that it was confusing to us. Any Way we filled it out signed it mailed it to Conquest Financial Services. Little did we know that two other companies would enter in to this lease. NLS Leasing or Northern Leasing as they are so famous for, and Elavon Merchant Services. How it works is, Conquest purchases the terminal and charges you insurance on it, They then sell the terminal to Northern Leasing Systems and they in turn charge insurance on it and lease it to you. The first lease withdrawl was $104.00. I questioned that right away and after 1 month went buy I was told it was 1st and last month lease, (did not add up). There was a total of 5 seperate wthdrawls each month on our business account. Sept came, Lease withdrawl $72.75. I questioned that and never received an answer until Nov 4th. By now $882.36 had been removed from our account by these three amigo crooks. Conquest finally admits in an email that the leaseing company made a mistake, we would receive a refund if we signed a new lease for the right amount $38.00 per month. ( NOT LIKELY) could you imagine these crooks having 2 leases in their grimmy paws. We have just closed our account and are awaiting all the responses from these crooks.
