First of all, Greg S. Bohl ( if that is his real name ), is not truthful, or forthcoming, in any way whatsoever. His " 3 1/2 year old company", is not listed to do Credit Counciling Services, in any verification list, I could locate, in the State of Florida. Check the first URL above, to back up this claim. I emailed Mr. Bohl, the next day after his response was posted to this site, and of course, I recieved NO RESPONSE, and no refund. He well knows that the documents, he claims to provide, are time sensitive, and if not sent within a week or so, would not be of any value to the consumer, whatsoever. His offer, to "send them now", is a red herring, and when asked to refund the $195, neither answered my e-mail, or offered any redress.
Second, this character uses the LEGITIMATE, Federally licensed CCCS of Atlanta, to steer potential marks, to believe HE is not a Rip Off. Don't be fooled by this! I personally called CCCS of Atlanta, and they have neither heard of "CCS of America", or acknowledge any relationship, or knowledge of either Greg S. Bohl, or CCSofAmerica.com . ( feel free to contact them, using the third url above, to confirm this )
Third, the rules that the second url above offers, such as asking for verifiable credentials, a verified postal address ( not just #6 office park, or Post Office Box ***, etc), are both great ideas. Hey, Greg, feel like posting your snail mail address, or credentials? I won't hold my breath.
I invite anyone to call 1-800-937-4130, and get a human being to answer. Greg S. Bohl, and the imaginary "CCSof America" offers no credible, let alone verifiable evidence, that he exists, except in cyberspace, and is not listed in any local, State, or Federal list of certified Credit Counseling agencies. I do know he does business with Sun Bank, ( which is where my E-check was marked "paid"), and believe me, you do NOT want this guy getting any of your personal information, over the phone, without a written contract, including all the above mentioned bona fides. He has the gaul to say, he hasn't heard of me? LOL. He sure "heard" of my $195, as it was paid to him, the day after we spoke for 2 hours on phone.
WARNING, he has been reported to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture, for nonperformance, and I certainly hope that he will be shut down, before he defrauds anyone else. Again, this man is not listed, verifiable, or legitimate. If you are thinking of filing a petition for Bankruptcy, download the docs from Legal Forms.com, ( for $39, not $195), then, go get an Attorney to do your filing. You'll be glad you did.

This is an update to my venture of bringing this scam artist to justice. On Tuesday, May 29th I will appear before a federal judge in the Middle District of Florida to further detail Mr.Bohl's exploits and scams. Mr.Bohl has been notified and invited to defend himself in person or via phone conference. I doubt he will appear in any form. But I will most definately be there and lay all of the rip off report stories and BBB complaints out before the judge.I will let everyone know how it goes.

I am also a victim of Mr. Greg (the liar). He was so quick at first to give me information. Took the time to explain to me about the Chapters. and as soon as he took my money he disapperead!

Benjamin, you are not alone! I think you have been missing my report updates because they are classified under Credit Reports and under CCS and not the full name. But I encourage you to read up on how I have been waging my own personal war in court against Mr.Greg Bohl. I also reference your story and others that are listed here on the rip off report.
I encourage you all to join me in filing a class action lawsuit against Mr.Bohl. I will receive a copy of the order the judge issued against Mr.Bohl this past week and I will post it for all to see. I am also in contact with a local tv station in Jacksonville to do an expose story on Mr.Bohl they have some really nice information on him. They will try to contact him to get his side of the story. We all know how that will turn out. Just stay tuned and I will keep you all posted. Keep reporting Mr. Bohl to the government agencies on all levels. He will be stopped and made to answer for this scam of his.

CCS of America, RIP OFF, the complaints just keep piling up

Well, Greg, so far I have found three current and pending complaints, registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture, that have accused you of the same Rip Off, and fraud, that I have detailed here. ( contact Nora Simmons, Senior Complaint Analyist, 850-410-3757, or in Florida, 1-800-435-7352, case number 0605-19517/ NS to confirm this). The office of Consumer Services said they contacted you, to no avail, and had to mark my case, as "closed unsatisfactorily". I have the E-mails you sent me, so to continue to say "you never heard of me", is neither credible, or correct. How would I know that you do business with Sun Bank, if I never sent you, any money? Lucky guess? I don't think so, ace.
I also have spoken to the Dade County States Attorney's office who stated that your company, had 10 similar complaints of nonperformance filled against them, in '05. ( 1-305-375-3677 ) So it seems that your status as an officer of CCS of America, Inc., shows you've been a busy boy, ripping off folks, state wide.
For anyone needing it, Greg S. Bohl's supposed current snail mail addy is: 2750 Race Track Road, Suite 305, Jacksonville, Florida 32259- as he refuses to publish it in his flim flam "rebuttal".
This site had 4 other folks who tried to get responses from you after payment was recieved, and none of them were even contacted back. Care to offer some weak excuse for these claims? I won't hold my breath.
The fact that the FDLE hasn't come to get you yet, is merely a function of the number of complaints filed, and at the rate you are going, it shouldn't be too long until they do.
BEWARE folks, this org. is not going to send you any legal paper packages for Chapter 7 or 11 filings, either one. Greg is a FRAUD, and a CON MAN, and call the above numbers, if you doubt this statement. This CCS of America Inc. is merely a phone number, with a recorder. It is NOT listed as "cerified" by any Bankruptcy Petition regulatory agency. It's very name, is misleading, and it's actions are just the acts of a cut rate con job.

Benjamin, my real name is Greg Bohl. Consumer Credit Services of America has been incorporated in the State of Florida since February, 2003. Our address and other information is publicly available and is updated each year with the Florida Department of State. We have prepared bankruptcies in virtually every bankruptcy district in the U.S., and are listed as a "bankruptcy petition preparer" in each case that is filed. This information is also public information and is available from the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts.
You will not find us registered anywhere as a "credit counseling" service because we are not a credit counseling service. We are a "bankruptcy petition preparer" and "debt relief agency", as defined in the U.S Bankruptcy Code. (A "debt relief agency" is defined as a person or organization that assists individuals in filing for bankruptcy.)
The FAQ's on our web site have a link to "Consumer Credit Counseling Services" in Atlanta, GA so that individuals can obtain a credit counseling certificate, which is required to file bankruptcy under the new bankruptcy laws. That organization is approved by the U.S. Trustee's Office to issue credit counseling certificates nationwide. Absolutely nowhere have we ever advertised ourselves as being a "credit counseling" service or being affiliated with Consumer Credit Counseling Services in Atlanta or elsewhere.
I have never spoken to you for 2 hours on the phone and, no, I did not know who "Benjamin from Pittsburg, PA" was. How could I when your last name was not listed?
