So I came across what seemed to be some great deals on their consumerdepot.com website! I gave them all my information and then the next day I receive an email that my order is on hold! I try calling...that's a joke! The only phone assistance they have is to take your order and money, but their "sales department" will NOT assist you in ANY other way.
I replied to their email with more info and contacted my bank to assure that the transaction would go through smoothly! I never did hear back from anyone at Consumer Depot, so I decided to call them again.
I spoke with, you guessed it, their sales department! I informed the lady that I had already used the webform and that I needed to speak with a person regarding my order...she then hung up on me!
I immediately contacted them, via their web form (the ONLY form of customer service they offer, which is NO service at all) and informed them that due to their sales lady hanging up on me, I did not want to do business with them and requested my order be cancelled.
I have sent multiple emails, both utilizing their web form and replying to their one email, but I have yet to receive a response. My order status is still on hold and I'm just waiting for them to try and charge me! I'm sure it's coming!
And what recourse do I have? Apparently none! The TN Atty. General doesn't seem to be doing anything. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
My general opinion of this company is that they are a scam! It sounds like they offer broken junk as "verified tested/working" equipment!
BUYER BEWARE!!! Unless you live next door to the owner, don't do ANY business with these guys!!! If you really want a great deal on electronics (that really work), go to tigerdirect.com! I have been working with Tiger for over 10 years and NEVER ONE PROBLEM! The BEST customer service in the industry!
Stay away from consumerdepot.com, overstockdealz.com, and their countless other seller ID's on ebay!!!
