Consumer Portfolio Services - The Finance Co. CPS Repossessed "stole" my car after a payment was made Irvine, California

CPS is the most un-professional company I have ever dealt with in my life! CPS repossessed my car after I had already made a payment extention arrangement with them AND paid a car note! Then, to make matters worst, they won't return my calls to give me an amount that I owe to get my car back. It has been four days since the repossession and I have called CPS day and night trying to get some information. Nothing. I have left several messages asking them to tell me what I owe so I can take care of this but they refuse to respond! Isn't this illegal? Not to mention that they are charging me over 6,000 dollars in finance charges for the car I "was" purchasing. Avoid doing buisness with company at all cost! It would be better to just catch the bus. Less hassle.
