In January of this year I had to be off work due to a foot injury. I was still being paid until about may of this year/ That is when my husband and I struggled to make ends meet. The first payment that I was late with was because of a mix up with a credit green card that I purchased from Walgreens to pay my car payment. They told me that they could not accept that card because it did not have the logo on it so I had to wait for a refund from the card company. The loan center refused to wait for them to refund my money and demanded payment right away or they would start repossesion. So ignoring my crying on the phone and unwilling to work with me I had to borrow the money. I and my husband went through months of this trying to deal with the phone calls dealing with some different character every time. The car was to be paid off in August but as I explained my husband and I were struggling to make ends meet but we were doing our best to make the payments they were unwilling to work with me despite my current condition and after having surgery in May. Well in about Sept. made a payment and had about 580 dollars left to pay. We missed a payment. They called my neighbors and told them all my personal business. My neighbors were mad wondering how they got their numbers and why they told all my business. The call was placed to my home that morning and I was told on the machine to call back by five. They called my neighbors at 2 saying they were going to take my car etc. My husband made a payment. Since then he has had several arguments with rude people and hung up on several times. Now I owe 250 and they aren't giving me a chance to pay it off. I have kept in contact and have been showing that I am making an effort to pay. Today I get a letter saying they have reported me to the credit bureau about a late payment, missed payment, or other default on my account. This information may be reflected in your credit report. It says to please call the collections department at 866-325-4568. I have several numbers and have spoke with several people and none of them somehow know the other or have any notation of conversations or arrangements. By the way I stopped getting record of payments sent to me over a month ago. What they send me says something totally different to pay than the records I keep. Interest is being added and I always get a different pay off total. So I have paid way more than my car is worth. Help. This company is so unprofessional.
