In Jan 2007 we paid off our car loan. In February 2013, we were gifting the car to our son and were told there was still a lein. When we contacted CPS we were told there were late fees of $347.65 still due 6 years after we paid it off!!!!! I contacted our state board of financial regulators and was told to definitely file a complaint. That my state has a file on this business. Please, if you have a complaint file it with your state as well.
