They are trying to come get my car i have paid them all of the principal besides $1641.35, they have received 96percent of my contract. They have added the late fees on the end of my contract, so know there saying i owe 3700.00, and i must pay it in full due to my Maturity of my contract is up. I did received an extension and they approved it, therefore i should of had 2months added on contract, wich would be and Amendment. They indicated to me that was an Amendment!!!!!!!!! They are rude liars and they will harrass you...

Isn't That A Surprise!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Your documented reputation of not paying your bills on time caused you to need a subprime lender. Now that you're with a subprime lender, what happens? You STILL have a documented reputation with still another creditor of not paying your bills on time. Whine, whine, whine they harrass you! Isn't that a surprise. Guess what? You hang on now, this may come as quite a shock...they don't make collections calls to people who pay their bills on time! With all the late fees you ran up and extra interest you ran up, it is just so, so fraudulent they collect what YOU caused.

- Until they receive 100% it is not your car and they have every right to reposes it if you fail to make your payments per the terms of the contact.

- Not necessarily.  Most likely you got a deferment.  When you get a deferment they do not just give that to you interest free.  So you now are assessed additional interest because your balance is higher than originally scheduled.  If your deferment happened near the beginning of the loan this can be quite a significant amount.

They also just "defer" your payment to the end of the loan, they do NOT extend your loan terms.  So yes you must pay your last payment, any accrued late fees, additional interest caused by the deferments, and the two deferred payments by the maturity date.

Now, if by some chance you have something in writing giving you a new maturity date you have a valid complaint about part of it.  However, you will still need to pay the additional interest, any other late fees that.
