Consumer Telecom Kim, Judy company tried to rip my mom off omak Washington

My mother just got a call from consumer telecom, who told her that they could lower her long distance phone bill if she switched over to them. She gave them some of her information, her birthday, name, and address, but nothing else. After she got off the phone with them, I looked online to see if it was a scam. I saw many reports that they were, so I'm putting a report on here and will update it if anything else happens. I told her it was reported to be a scam, so she called the company back and told them she wanted to cancel. The woman told her that there wasnt even an account made, but that she would go in and see if there was a way to cancel it.
