Back in September of 2004 I received a phone call from a gentleman by the name of Mike, rep# 90061. He stated to me that I was approved for a MasterCard with a credit limit of $2,500.00. I have bad credit, so I made sure that the card had a limit of $2,500.00, and not UP TO $2,500.00 "Mike" had all of my personal information such as my social security number and address so I assumed that I must have filled out an application for a credit card at some time. I was also informed that I would receive a cruise and a vacation for accepting their offer today.

Against the advice of my mother that was with me when I received the call, I agreed to the offer and gave them my banking account information. I was told that there would be a one time processing fee of $329.80 and they even agreed to wait for 2 weeks until I got paid to take the payment out of my account.

I was told after the payment had cleared I would receive a package in the mail with all of my information in it and that I would need to sign the form inside and send it back so that my signature would be on file in case my card was ever lost or stolen.

It took me well over a month to get the package after my payment had cleared, and when I finally received it it had an application in it, not a signature verification form. I signed the form and sent it back. Within about 2 weeks I received a letter from a bank stating that due to my bad credit they could not approve me for an unsecured credit card but if I wanted to send them a deposit I could receive an unsecured card.

I then attempted to call Continental Services (as I had mulitple times before) but got their answering machine that assured me that someone would return my call withing 24-48 hours. I repeatedly called the office until someone answered the phone. I proceeded to speak with the woman on the phone, that could barely speak and/or understand english, and she told me that I was never approved for a $2,500.00 card, I was approved for one UP TO $2,500.00 and that I needed to resign the form the bank sent me and send it back to receive my card with a $200.00 limit.

I simply asked the lady why would I send someone over $300.00 for a credit card of $200.00.....does that make any sense? She proceeded to argue with me so I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. At that time she advised me that I could not speak to a supervisor, that she was the only person available to speak to me.

I have left multiple messages on their answering machine over the last couple of weeks, but no response as of yet.
