Continental Van Lines, Bayonne, NJ Price gouging -- Holds items hostage for higher payment. Always wants cash; charged for three men and only two men picked up. Was told if didn't pay what they wanted, they would NOT leave furniture Bayonne, New Jersey

Charged for pick-up for three men @ $95/hr, when only two men showed up. items went to warehouse until delivery two weeks later.  When delivery was made, the price was almost double that was demanded.  When I mentioned that was not the price quoted, I was threatened that the furniture would be taken back to the warehouse and auctioned off.  Only one piece of furniture was wrapped.  There were water marks and drips from the top of the furniture, indicating they had gotten wet and had been exposed to water in the warehouse or on loading.

No calls were returned from the principals of the company.  When filing a complaint with www.protectyourmove.gov, was informed several similar complaints have been filed against this company.
