It's the same guy, he was also on dateline NBC as a scam artist, he used to have store front in 91G knickbocker Bohemia which was staged and that's where Chris hansen from NBC confronted him
I'm not sure he is still at this location but he probably still lives in 516 3rd ave in bayport NY
