Copeland Marketing Corporation Deceptive about time to sell property and refund if unsold. Daytona Beach Florida

When contacted by the selling agent we were told that if we listed the property with them right now, at a price they determined, that they would be able to sell the property in the next couple of months. We were verbally guaranteed by the selling agent and his manager that our money would be refunded if the property did not sell. Believing this we listed with this organization and paid the $900.000 up front for "advertising".

To this date (15 months later) they have never contcted us and when we call all we have heard is excuses and explanations that they do not know what we were told at the time of listing and that the listing person no longer works for the company. When asked for some proof that the money we sent in was used to "advertise" the property they were unsure if that proof could be produced.

Essentially they are good at taking your money but do not do anything beyond that. The true meaning of RIPOFF.
