According to their contract, if we sold our timeshare through another company within one year of signing Copeland's contract, the $499 would be returned to us. (The $100 for renting was non-refundable.) We did sell with another company within the year and called Copeland. They asked us to fax in specific documents, which we did on October 10, 2006. We heard nothing from them and our calls were not returned.
On February 19, 2007, we sent a letter to them by certified mail and received a letter from them on February 26, 2007, saying that we would receive a full refund of the $499, which would take up to 180 days. We heard nothing from them and sent another certified letter on October 29, 2007, asking when we could expect the refund. We received the form and letter, stating that Copeland was no longer at that address.
Is there anything that can be done to get this refund?
