At a recent presentation my husband and I just attended at Spinnaker Resorts, we were informed of these complaint forums and what is really going on with Coral Resorts. They have informed us that not only are most of the people victims like us, but the Company is now trying to hide its bad reputation by changing the company name and getting out of RCI. These gentleman did not sell us anything and had no reason to lie to us we felt. Please contact everyone you can to make Coral Resorts learn a lesson. We were lied to just like everyone else on here. My husband and I have been expecting this "rent check" from Lachelle and Danny Taylor since last summer. Even in 2012 they "bought" our 2011 week from us when we were there last summer. We are glad to see someone else was made the same promises in writing( we attached our paper as well, looks like a different form, same handwriting), this should help build a case. ..... Every time we have contacted them or the resort, it's the same excuses why we don't have a check. Nothing but lies. I don't know who the bigger liar was, the wife or the husband. Regardless, I bet there is not a lot of trust in that marriage. We were supposed to have a $3200 check in September of 2012, just a couple of months after we bought. Obviously this was too good to be true. The resort has to be aware of this website and if they continue to let this couple work for them it is clear they do not care that they lie to people. This couple has multiple complaints just on this website, they should not be allowed to talk to customers. We intend to make the SCLLR aware of this.
Owner services and Reba Management has confirmed for us that no rent check will ever come. Our maintenance fee is much higher than quoted on Lachelle's notes that we have. Resort Solutions (their partner in crime in Virginia) has also confirmed that almost no weeks ever rent.
RCI is a joke in itself. We let them know that all of us our lied to, and they still let this company do business. Clearly RCI has no integrity and neither does Coral Resorts. We have never gotten any satisfaction from RCI on any reservations.
If any owners or attorneys read this and want to form class action against Coral Resorts/RCI please contact everyone you can on here. We are doing our best to get in touch with as many other victims of this company as possible. I have kept in touch by email and phone with several other couples from the owners breakfast and it appears that nothing is slowing down with this company.
