There was bonus software included with the package, such as WinDVD 8. To my dismay, I found out that WinDVD 8 is not hi-def comaptabile, and that I would have to purchase the newer version. What a rip-off! All the packaging leads the buyer to believe they are getting products that are hi-def compatable.
