Former agents beware. When you finally figure out that this company is corrupt, dishonest, misleading your pretty much stuck in their claws. After I quit in 2006, I get 3 letters stating that I owe them money. Each letter had a different amount. When I requested they send me a detailed report with all my information including what I still had on the books, I never recieved another letter. But then, they send me a W2 for 2007.
I quit in 2006. The W2 said that they "paid" me $7390.00, of which I never saw a dime. I'm sure they used one of their "calculations" to get around income they don't want to pay. And just today I got a letter from the IRS asking why I didn't claim this "income". I told them because I never got this money.
Now I have to deal with the IRS. Just when I thought my life was free from this demonic company I am once more sucked backed in to their hellhole. If there is anyone else that is going through this or has in the past PLEASE post your experience. We need to find a way to stop these people. They don't care and never have cared for their agents. As long as you are writing your "safe" only if you keep writing. For those who are reading this and you are working for these people I pray for you because you are going to need it once they no longer need you.

I was an employee of Cornerstone America for about a year and a half to long believing I can make anything work. I built a very successful business before I lost it to divorce. I went to the group interview where I was very interested in helping the small business owner. Little did I know that it was a SCAM!!! You were not the agent there to help. If you stay there long enough you would learn they do not pay claims as you are trained and the company will not even talk to the agent about their "clients".
As if that was not bad enough, almost everything I was told was a lie!!! Managers lost houses and cars. I came to find out because you do not make anything. I literally got a $10,000+ annual check for premium and made $331. Then when I left ended up owing a bunch of money I never got paid. I was told by the man that ran the office that the advances would be paid off as the client paid. Um, NO, after I quit I was informed when your contract is terminated you no longer earn as a customer pays.
It was so bad, the regional manager got shut down and had to move 4 hours away with his mom!!! LOL!! Anyway, it was so bad, I said i would never do insurance again. I since learned all companies are not like that and be sure to interview with several companies before you make a decision. I just hope no one ever has to go thru that. BEWARE!!!
