Like so many that I am finding, we too were ripped off by the company known as Corporate Development Network. My associate was contacted by phone by a very convincing Kelly Ward. She stated that her company would deposit $25,000 into our business account, to be used for any type of business expenses. There would be a fee of $369.00 charged once the $25k was deposited, then a monthly fee would start. She seemed very convincing, but my partner was very adimant on confirming that she WOULD NOT deduct any money from the checking account until the $25k was deposited. She assured him that would be the case. Several days later, two charges were made against the account. 1 for $369 and one for $39.90. When he spoke to the bank, they stated that drafts were drawn. He contacted the company to find out what happened. He dialed the number and asked for Kelly at ext 4000. That lead to a dial tone. He called back several times, and again, got just a dial tone when he was transferred. He finally left a message with the receptionist, but no one has yet to call. I have since done some research on the internet and found many other cases against this company. They have several complaints with the BBB in Orlando and a lawsuit in Canada.
