Costa Rica Shuttle Costaricashuttle.com No Insurance - Potential Scam/Ripped off $3000 worth of Luggage! San Jose, Internet

Do not hire this company for your auto transport unless you want to assume full responsibility for an accident or lost luggage. I booked a private shuttle ride with this company from San Jose to Santa Teresa and the driver who tied down our surfboards did not properly tie them down and or had a scam to take our surf boards and sell them once they flue off. 

The driver placed our three board bags on top of the SUV they were driving us in and took off driving down wet dirt roads WAY over the speed limit while it is raining, and at night. They flew off shortly after and we didnt find out until we got to our hotel, an hours drive later. Somehow one of the board bags ended up at his buddies house, while two other board bags are
missing.

The company never apologized, nor even tried to contact us. When we reached out they said it was our responsibility to secure them even though this is no where in their documentation and their driver took them out of our hands and wanted to secure them himself. So basically if you ride with this company and something goes wrong with them you are SCREWED. We are out roughly $3,000 dollars. DO not book travel with Costaricashuttle.com, also known as Montezuma-hotels and or Zuma Tours Group.
