To anyone looking for a new/used car...Stay away from Country Chevrolet. I bought a 2003 Trailblazer in November and by January it was completely undriveable. Four safety Inspection items were passed and the vehicle had a brand mew inspection sticker on it, it should have not passed. The vehicle needed breaks, ball bearing were out on one side, turn signals freezing as well as some shotty repair work or "patchwork" was done on the transmission which was noted to have been done recently by my current mechanic whom also works for Chevrolet; bad timing/serpentine belt and the list goes on and on. Since the dealership bought this vehicle from an auction before selling, I fully hold them responsible for this debacle. They were paid cash for this vehicle. I really thought I was dealing with a reputable dealership interested in forming a lasting relationship with a customer, but I was sorely mistaken. The Trailblazer now needs a NEW transmission (as the current one can't even be rebuilt), the four wheel drive is broken to the tune of $400 (part only) the fan motor has burnt up and of course replacement of the above mentioned items and Timing/Serpentine belt is bad and in need of replacement. Basic items were ignored, so buyer BEWARE of this dealership.This is not a hoax, I am currently dealing with repairs that will run in the thousands...If you do decided to buy from Country Chevrolet in Warranton, please have the vehicle checked by a mechanic that does not work for the dealership! Pass this along to all your friends, post on your walls please, I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of by this dealership if I can possibly help it!!!

I thought I did my due diligence and asked around about this dealership as well as looked them up on line.  This is the second time that GM in general has let me down.  First with a Saturn and now with a Trailblazer...Was it worth switching from Honda back to Chevy???  Well it doesn't appear so....

How many miles does it have on it?  Did you buy it "AS-IS"?  I'm pretty sure you did and that means ANY and ALL repairs are on you.

How did GM also rip you off on this worn out vehicle? 

Sorry for your problems, but it would appear YOU ripped YOURSELF off.

Questions for the car buyer......

I have a couple questions for the car buyer.... How many years old is a car that you bought? You did not buy a new car number one. Number two I am sure that you did not buy an extended warranty of any nature because you didn't want to pay for it. When you buy a used car you have the option to buy an extended warranty you also have the option to buy the car as is and I'm sure that is what you have done you bought a car as is.

I am sure that your dealership has a document that somewhat similar to what is called a "WE OWE. " This document is used to tell the customer that the dealership as in we owe the customer the following. And everything that the dealership is willing to provide you in this transaction is written on that document such as free window tint a CD player fixing a dent in a door. So whatever the customer wants fixed they ask for that to be written on that document.

You were probably so happy that you got to buy the car that you are not willing to spend some quality time with the car to find out if it really needed anything there's a strong possibility that you might be what's called a " GET ME DONE " car buyer. In other words you probably have some speed bumps in your credit history and the dealership couldn't finance a more expensive car maybe even a new car for you because of the history in your credit report.

I am very sure that there are parts to the story that you are not revealing to the general public in your report. Most of the time when a customer squeals really loud their problems in the deal that they themselves have created.  I am personally pretty good at reading Automotive complaints on this website. And I am willing to bet that there's a lot to the story that you are not telling the public. So let's get to the meat of the problem I have some questions for you.

Number one what is your credit score

Number two do you have anything on your credit report that is delinquent?

Number three do you make all of your payments on everything on time?

Have you ever had any repos?

Does your income level prevent you from buying a brand-new car with the manufactures warranty?

Did the dealership offer to sell you an extended warranty at the time of purchase but you said no?

Did you ask to take the vehicle to a repair shop to get an inspection before you sign the contract ?

If you're going to tell a story tell all aspects of it I am able to pick this deal apart pretty quick because you were not telling everything regarding your deal. I am not here to pick you apart but what I am here to do is to possibly bring out stuff in this deal that you have not revealed to the general public.

I am willing to bet that this dealership if they got outside financing have a top time in other words in a lot of work to do to get you financially approved for this car or any other car. Next time you go out to buy a car save some money stick it aside so you have a larger down payment so you can afford to buy a brand-new car and reap the benefits of a brand-new vehicle in your driveway with the manufactures warranty attached to it.

Here is an example of another customer that needs a check up from the neck up....
