 DO NOT USE COUNTRY COMPANIES FOR ANY REASON!
I was hit by one of Country Mutual policy holders on Christmas eve. I was backing out of a parking space and hit in the side of my truck doing thousands of dollars of damage to my truck. After numerous calls and none ever being returned. (It took over three weeks just to talk to my claims rep, Ivis Howard). After two weeks and not hearing from your company I called and was told, by the operator, that they were waiting on the police report. After contacting the police department I was told that NO ONE had ever requested the report so I went to the police station and got a copy myself. It took less than 2 minutes to get it. I called again and was told that if I fax the report the it would be finished that day. Why am I doing YOUR JOB? Well a week later and still not hearing from anyone I called again and again I was told that the claim rep was still not available and that they recieved the fax a week ago that nothing yet was done. I was given the name of my claims reps supervisor (in Atlanta Ga) and to call them the next day. The claim rep must have got a copy of that because I WAS called before 8am the next morning by the claims rep. and was told that it was 50% MY fault that someone HIT ME and and they would only pay 50% of the claim. I was also told that I could not use my passenger as a witness?? We will see about that. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY FOR ANY REASON EVER. IF YOUR COMPANY NAME COMES UP IN ANY ACCIDENT AGAIN I WILL GO STRAIGHT TO A LAWYER OR RECOMEND IT TO THE PARTIES INVOLVED. I WILL BE CONTACTING ONE TODAY ABOUT THIS MATTER. YOUR COMPANY IS IN MY OPINION TOTAL CRAP AND I WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW, KNOW THIS.
P.S. I recorded all my conversations with you too. This will be posted all over the internet and any place else I can find to post such as bulletin boards at grocery stores, resturants and every where else I can along with the recorded transcript. I am retired now and your company has become my top priority. ALL I WANTED WAS FOR MY TRUCK TO BE FIXED BUT NOW I DON'T GIVE A CRAP WHAT HAPPENS. IF I CAN STOP JUST ONE PERSON FROM USING YOUR COMPANY I WILL BE HAPPY. THANKS FOR NOTHING YOU PIECE OF CRAP COMPANY.
