My elderly uncle went to this dealer with a car to trade in. He was shown a lot of cars and after driving one, he decided to buy it. He was shown into an office and among the dealer created confusion, signed to buy another car he had neither seen, nor driven. After parting with his old car and thousands of dollars he was taken to the car he had just purchased. After protesting, he was advised by a nice lady that he could drive the car for a week and if he didn't like it could bring it back.
It didn't take 20 minutes for him to see the car was worse than the one he traded in. It was extremely noisey and rattled everyehere. He contacted the dealer and was told the car was sold, as is, and he could not bring it back. A check with a lawyer confirmed that to be the case.
So he is now out thousnads of dollars and is waiting for the registration to go through so he can get rid of the car and find something driveable. This will cost him thousands more which he can not afford.
These people should be ashamed for what they did to this elderly gentleman. They certainly covered their bases and did everything legally. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
