Countrywide Home Loans has failed and refused to properly service a mortgage. Their representatives do not know what they are doing. Countrywide did not respond to requests for a loan modification, then they refused to cooperate with a short sale. Countrywide changed their procedures and requirements for a short sale daily. Countrywide had a contract for purchase in their possession for five months and failed to proceed with the sale. Our buyer finally walked. Countrywide then refused requests for a Deed in Lieu. Consequently the bank that actually holds the mortgage has filed a Foreclosure complaint.

Countrywide has contacted our creditors and placed negative marks against our credit reports. Thus, even though we have always maintained excellent credit, our creditors are contacting us to either close an account or take a credit limit from $10,000-$50,000 to as low as $500.00.

We have filed complaints with every government office available including the Attorney Generals Office. We have contacted several private attorneys. We have contacted the governors office. We have been advised that Countrywide is permitted to continue to screw over the people whose mortgages they service. Countrywide has in a period of 8 months destroyed a family that has worked very hard. They need to be stopped.
