The day of the hearing Countrywide's attorney told the judge that we were 3 months behind. Then he went back to his office and MAILED US THE LAST MORTGAGE PAYMENT (basically refused receipt) that we had sent to TEXAS. Texas apparently sent the payment to HIM, not us. How can an attorney stand before a judge, say we're behind, and then mail us back our payment the same day? It had been sent Fed-x overnight to TEXAS. Their attorney is in DENVER. They refused to post so they could say we were behind. Why? Because it was an FHA loan and it was insured. FHA PAID OFF COUNTRYWIDE and they didn't have to deal with us anymore. Phone calls did absolutely no good. Bounced around between "bankruptcy department", accounting, yadda, yadda. In my opinion, these people are frauds, and I'm entitled to my opinion.
