I only had my CDL for one year. Covenant Fired me suddenly for no reason. They have destroyed my DAC. First they had that I refused a drug test, and now they've changed it to a tested positive. This was all suppose to be on the same day, March 4, 2009. I was sitting in a log class, dispatch Phillip Farmer contacted me to test. I was about to leave, Jill Collins told me if I left there would be no need to test. I'm new at this, I did try to tel her that I needed to test then, but she insisted that I could not leave. I've been out of work now since March and no company will hire me until this is taken off my DAC report. How does the law makers allow companies to lie on you and mess up your record or income for life? This was my career. I'm 27 yrs. This is legal, this they get away with and life goes on, while drivers struggle and beg some company to believe them. This is a bunch a crap. I've had 25 companies trying to hire me until they look at the DAC report from Covenant. Yeah, I've contacted DAC, USIS and it's a slow process. I'm still waiting, in the meantime, I guess it's working at McDonald's , huh? Covenant, change your name. Something like Natas, satan spelled backward is more appropriate. Anybody interested in class action. These people are malicious, mean, deliberate, arrogant, don't care about the families they hurt. If they had fired me, okay, but why destroy me so I can't work at all. This company sent from satan, not from God.

Leslie,

My english is fine, but maybe you should check your reading and comprehension skills. I said that I was told to take a drug test. Okay........ when I got there, no one was there to test me. Jill Collins, the instructor was there and told me I needed to take a log class.

I told her I was there to take a drug test. She told me that if I did not take the log class first, there would be no need to take the drug test at all. does that make better sense to you.

Farmer contacted me afterward I finished the log class. I couldn't contact him during the log class because all cell phones are turned off, Farmer told me to take the drug test the next day at 1 pm. On my way there the next morning at 10 am, when Farmer contacted me and told me I was terminated.

So Leslie, I should not have been terminated. But you think what you want to. You must be personel. Drivers have a different outlook on Covenant. Stay in the white house while you can.

You people need to learn how to use English properly so we can understand what happened. I'm talking about this: "I was sitting in a log class, dispatch Phillip Farmer contacted me to test. What in the heck happened? You never said why they fired you. It sure sounds like they fired you because you refused to urinate. Why shouldn't they? And were you in orientation? Cause it sounds like it.

By the way, it's probably easier for you to just complete the FMCSR return to duty requirements than to fight this. You can be trucking again in a few months. And be glad that you live in a state that isnt totally evil. Some states will revoke your CDL privileges for what you did, until you complete the return to duty requirements. And then you have to pay a ton of fees to get it back.

HEY THEY FIRED ME ON 12/18/08 I WORKED AT THE HUTCHIN TERM.AS A LOCAL DRIVER.I GOT SUSPENDED IN FIRED IN THE SAME DAY FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT DO,BUT THEY GANGED UP ON ME BUT ITS ALL GOOD JUST KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF THINGS THEY HAVE DONE WRONG TO OTR DRIVERS AND ALL THE DISPATCHER HAVE TO DO IS CALL THAT TERM.THAT YOU HAVE STOPPED AT IN TELL THEM TO FIND A WAY TO GET YOU FIRED,FROM LOGS TO JUST PUTTING YOU ON LOCK DOWN UNTILL YOU GUIT ON YOUR OWN BELEIVE ME THEY OR NOT GOOD PEOPLE.JUST A FEW NAMES MARCUS THE SAFETY GUY HE IS A AZZ KISSER SO IF THEY TELL HIM TO JUMP HE DOES IT.MAN GET YOUR DAC FIXED IN DONT TURN BACK,,HELL I GOT ME A TRUCK AND LANDSTAR BEEN OK SO FAR.BUT DO GIVE UP CAUSE THATS WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO.
