Erik Welker advertises his product as a wizbang way to advertise on craigs List, but in reality, it's worthless to me. Then, when the product wont work, or his webinars get shutdown, he suddenly comes up with lame excuses as to why it wont work. Here is part of an email I just got from him a few days ago "Attention Members,
If you have not already heard the news, craigslist has implemented a phone verification requirement in the small biz ads section and it has quickly spread into other sections...
Please do not be alarmed, as this verification system will either go away, or the entire craigslist posting community will collectively find a "workaround" and we will do it quickly."
Here's another lame excuse I received
"Here's a great idea...
Has anyone actually tried the phone system yet? We have. And you know what? Our ad posted!
While everyone else is running around like a chicken with their head cut off for the next few days (until this blows over) and none of the auto posting tools are working, don't you think NOW would be a good time to get your ads posted in those sections where there are only a few ads going up?
Try the phone system!
For heaven's sake, there are only 12 ads in the small biz ad section right now in Los Angeles! Do you know what that could mean to your business if you get an ad to stick?
Just imagine... you might be able to get an ad to stick, and stay in the top ten for a long time in a few major cities.
Too many people have taken auto posting for granted anyway. This is a good time to get back to basics and do some manual posting for a day or two while this gets sorted out. Utilize all the resources you have, like an extra phone line if you have one."
What he does not say is, "Hey, they've thwarted our efforts so far, and our information you have paid for is useless until we find a fix, or they give up." Just a pathetic way to avoid the point that his software is not working, at least not for me. And they lack the integrity to refund my money.
