CreditDiagnosis.com Credit Diagnosis They Took My Money. Twice!! Des Plaines, Illinois Internet

I responded to an internet ad, stating "Free Credit Report". The ad stated that I would only be charged $1.00, which would be refunded. I was actually charged the dollar fee TWICE, along with an additional $19.95 a few days later. In essence, I assumed I was paying for the credit report.

A month later, I noticed my online banking account reflected another charge for $19.95 from CREDIT DIAGNOSIS. After contacting my bank, I was given the phone number: 800-379-5036. When I contacted Credit Diagnosis, they informed me that I had signed up for a credit monitoring service. After hearing their bogus accusation, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told the customer service rep (oxymoron) that I needed both charges refunded back to my account. She agreed to refund only one charge.

When I asked her the rationale behind it, she explained that in the "agreement" that I made with her company, that only the last charge would be refunded. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she claimed that she didn't have one. Eventually, she agreed to refund both amounts back. I was still transfered to her supervisor, who also agreed to refund both amounts back. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They lure with the "Free Credit Report", and then they have you and your credit card. Steer Clear..... The worst company ever.......
