Credit Enhancement Services, LLC Rip-off s Offer credit card for $219.99 regardless of past credit history. Liars! Mail Fraud or False Representation

Credit Enhancement Services, POBox 726, Farmingdale, NY 11735 sends a card saying you are approved to receive a credit card with a personal limit of $4,000 to $7,500 guaranteed even if you filed bankruptcy. They charge $219.99 to process the paperwork. Later you receive a packet with a triple gold merchandise card, catalog and benefits package. The triple gold card is for use with the catalog only. An offer of a credit card appears later and charges up to $276 in fees but your credit limit is between $250 and $2500 and you cannot be in bankruptcy.

The NY Better Business Bureau says the company has an unsatisfactory rating which is the Bureau's lowest rating. They have received 200 complaints in the last 12 months ending in July 2001. The firm does not respond to complaints brought to its attention by the Bureau.

The Postal Services Inspection Service is conducting an investigation of this firm to determine if there has been a violation of the Mail Fraud or False Representation Statues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM.
