*I called the voiceline to get my available balance. I was at Walmart get groceries that totaled $26.17. I had already checked my balance previously $14.00 cash advance $14.00 purchases. I tried to use the two together approximately totaling $28.00. The manager had to ring it up. But my purchase was still saying DECLINED! (THIS WAS EMBARRASSING BEING DENIED WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT ON MY CARD). I called customer service after leaving the store MAD! .Customer Service stated that my card cannot be used for another 24 hours. I waited 24 hours. Still was DENIED! I tried to call the contact number listed to check my balance.(COULD BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING) I the office is currently CLOSED! All I wanted to do is "CHECK MY BALANCE" VERY VERY VERY ANGRY CARDHOLDER!! *

Typical subprime attitude...

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, August 28, 2016

Yes of course you MAX out your card using ALL of your available credit and get your card declined and it is all THEIR fault.  Where you now somehow think you are entitled to "compensation".  When in fact you are totally clueless and have no idea how to use a credit card.  Oh and don't say that you do, because this is a sub-prime card for people that have not proven they can handle credit, and is basically a "last chance" card where they are pretty much the only credit card company that will issue you a card.

When you get your total available credit...you don't add the two together.  It says you have an available credit of $14, of which $14 can be used if you want to have a cash advance.  It does NOT mean you have $28 available credit.  Oh and don't say that they told you that you could combine them, because anyone who actually knows how to handle credit knows that is a bunch of BS.

Now I don't totally blame you for being clueless.  Most likely you have been conditioned with this entitlement attitude and that you don't have bad credit as nothing is ever your fault.  Because in your mind they gave you a credit limit of a certain amount so you figure why not spend all of it.

You are a prime example of why it should be MANDATORY for someone before they get a credit card to get a BASIC education class on credit.    You see maxing out your credit card is just about the worst thing you can do for your credit(of course the worst being not paying your bills).
